赛事推送|2026年第六届 “用英语讲中国故事大会”

为弘扬中华优秀传统文化，搭建中外青年文化交流桥梁，提升学子语言表达与跨文化沟通能力，根据“用英语讲中国故事大会”组委会的部署和要求，经研究决定组织我院国际学生参加2026年第六届“用英语讲中国故事大会”,本次参赛活动由宁波工程学院国际交流学院承办。我们诚邀全院中外学子，以英语为媒，讲好中国故事、传播中国声音、展现中国风采。

To carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, build a bridge for cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign youth, and improve students’ language expression and cross-cultural communication skills, in accordance with the arrangements and requirements of the Organizing Committee of the Tell China’s Stories in English Competition, it has been decided upon deliberation to organize international students of our college to participate in the 6th Tell China’s Stories in English Competition 2026.This event is hosted by theInternational ExchangeCollege, Ningbo University of Technology. We sincerely invite all Chinese and foreign students of our college to take English as the medium, tell China’s stories well, spread China’s voice, and showcase China’s charm.

一、大会简介Contest Introduction

“用英语讲中国故事大会”由中国教育电视台与新航道国际教育集团联合主办，秉承“中华文化・世界传播”的愿景，已成功举办五届，累计吸引全球 142 个国家和地区的近 140 万名学子参与，是极具影响力的青年文化交流品牌活动。

Jointly organized by China Education Television and New Channel International Education Group, the “China Stories Told in English” Contest upholds the vision of “Chinese Culture, Global Communication”. It has been successfully held for five sessions, attracting nearly 1.4 million students from 142 countries and regions around the world, making it a highly influential youth cultural exchange brand event.

本届大会立足新时代，鼓励学子结合自身经历，讲述传统与现代交融的中国故事，彰显文化自信与国际视野。

Based on the new era, this contest encourages students to combine their ownexperiences, tell Chinese stories integrating tradition and modernity, and demonstrate cultural confidence and international vision.

在中外语言交流合作中心指导下，大会设立“来华留学生组”。各国青少年结合在华学习生活经历，用中文或英文（主要采用中文）生动讲述他们的所见所闻所感，成为中国与世界融合的见证者和推动者。

Under the guidance of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, the event features an ‘International Students in China Category’. Youth from around the world are encouraged to vividly recount their observations, insights, and feelings based on their study and life in China. By telling their stories in Chinese (preferred) or English, they act as witnesses and promoters of the integration between China and the world.

四、报名流程 Registration Process

1. 报名渠道 Registration:

请在 2026年3月15日之前，联系你的辅导员报名。国际商务专业、研究生请联系Lucas报名，工程管理、人工智能、语言生联系Grant报名。

注意：本次校内选拔不采用个人扫码报名，请务必通过学校统一申报。

Note: Do not scan the public QR code to register individually; you must register through Ningbo University of Technology.

2. 提交材料 Submission:

请将参赛视频文件发送给你的辅导员，并提供以下信息用于录入系统：护照英文名、中文名、国籍、护照号、学号、邮箱及电话。

Please send your video file to your Counselor and provide the following information for system registration: Passport Name, Chinese Name, Nationality, Passport Number, Student ID, Email, and Phone Number.

五、作品要求 Requirements

选手模拟舞台现场使用非母语(优先中文)拍摄作品，录制不超过1.5分钟的视频，在线提交视频作品。作品形式：三选一，“朗诵、地方故事撰写和朗读、自我介绍”。

Participants must submit a video (max 1.5 mins) simulating a stage performance in a non-native language (Chinese preferred). Choose one format: recitation, original local story writing + recitation, or self-introduction. Submit online.

选手从推荐荐文中选1篇，或从推荐图书中自选1篇，用非母语语言朗诵故事段落。

Contestants choose one of the recommended articles, or any article from the recommended books, recite a story paragraph in non-native language.

地方故事撰写和朗读 Local Story Writing & Retelling

选手撰写地方短篇故事并朗读，须围绕中国元素展开创作内容（“故事主体”不是选手个人、“地方”以选手高校所在地为主、“中国元素”包含且不限于中国风物、习俗、人物、成就、艺术和精神）。你的故事应该有一个清晰的叙事结构，包括“故事开头（介绍背景和主要人物）”、“故事主体（叙述主要事件以及故事高潮”和“故事结尾（鼓励创意生动的故事结局）”。

Contestants shall write a short local story based on Chinese elements.（Please be careful not to use the contestants themselves as the subject of the story，“Local” refers to the location of the contestant’s university. Chinese elements include but are not limited to Chinese cultural icons, Chinese customs, Chinese great figures, Chinese achievements, Chinese arts, or Chinese spirit.)Your story should have a clear narrative structure, including a “beginning” (introducing the setting and main characters), a “body”(describing the main events and the climax of the story), and an “ending” (creative endings are especially encouraged).

自我介绍 Self-Introduction

选手从自身出发展开介绍。自我介绍的内容须含有中国元素，中国元素包含且不限于中国风物、习俗、人物、成就、艺术或精神。

The contestant will introduce himself/herself. The content of the introduction shall contain Chinese elements, which include but are not limited to Chinese cultural icons, Chinese customs, Chinese great figures, Chinese achievements, Chinese arts, or Chinese spirit.

六、参与建议Suggestions for Participation

各阶段活动由组委会邀请专业语言专家参与现场评审，各阶段结束后，选区将公布晋级结果。

Professional language experts will be invited by the organizing committee to conduct on-site evaluation at each stage. After the conclusion of each stage, the selection areas will announce the advancement results.

·城市阶段：各选区对所有正式作品开展评审工作，按照结果排名依据比例确定入围省级阶段的选手名单。

·City Stage: Each selection area will evaluate all official entries, and determine the list of contestants advancing to the Provincial Stage based on the ranking and a specified proportion.

·省级阶段：设一、二、三等奖、优秀奖，根据实际评审结果设置若干名，授予获奖证书、奖杯或奖牌。

·Provincial Stage: First, second, third prizes and Excellence Awards will be presented. The number of awardees will be determined according to the actual evaluation results. Winners will be awarded certificates, trophies or medals.

·证书：所有城市阶段优秀选手、实际参与过省级阶段和参与全国阶段的选手及其指导教师均可获得由组委会官方认证的证书。

·Certificates: All outstanding contestants of the City Stage, contestants who actually participated in the Provincial Stage and the National Stage, as well as their instructors, will receive official certificates authenticated by the organizing committee.

·全国阶段奖项：所有参与的选手将被授予“中国故事精彩讲述者”称号，并用个人奖项做差异区分排名第1、排名第2~3、排名第4~6，以及排名第7~30名的选手。

·National Stage Awards: All participating contestants will be awarded the title of "Excellent Narrator of Chinese Stories". Individual awards will be differentiated to distinguish contestants ranked 1st, 2nd–3rd, 4th–6th, and 7th–30th.

七、注意事项 Notes

选手应保证个人信息真实准确、作品由本人出镜；上传的视频经 AI 初审为“正式作品”后方可进入评审环节；如出现类型选错、面部被遮挡、视频过短、语种有误、噪音过大等相关情况，需重新提交视频；如发现严重违规，例如大段抄袭、作品雷同等作弊现象，组委会将有权取消选手的参与资格和所获奖项。

Participants must ensure that all personal information provided is true and accurate, and that they appear personally in their submissions. Videos will only proceed to the judging process after passing the initial AI review. Participants must resubmit their videos if any of the following issues are identified: selecting the wrong format, having an obscured face, videos being too short, using the incorrect language, excessive background noise, or any other related issues. Please avoid any form of advertising. The organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify any performance that is found to contain plagiarized or copied material or has been created through any form of cheating. Any prizes awarded for such content may also be revoked.

往届大会中外青少年展演阶段的获奖选手，不可再次参与本届中外青少年展演阶段的选拔。

Winners of the previous Grand Showcase may not participate in the selection activities of the 6th Grand Showcase.

全程选手的音视频作品、稿件、现场影像资料及版权均归大会组委会所有，本届大会各项事宜的最终解释权和仲裁权归大会组委会所有。

Audio and video works, manuscripts, on-site video materials and copyrights of all participants are owned by the Organizing Committee, and the right of final interpretation and arbitration of all matters of this event belongs to the Organizing Committee.
